Cultivating what comes next.
Environmental stewardship is written into our mission. It shows up in how we run sites, in how we source, and in programmes like Nehemiah — where the work itself restores what earlier decades removed.
Four commitments, applied on every project.
Reforestation
Active nursery and tree-planting programmes, exemplified by the Nehemiah Initiative across ten Eastern Uganda schools.
Reduced Pollution
Site protocols to control dust, waste, and runoff — because the surrounding community lives with what we leave behind.
Resource Stewardship
Efficient water use on active sites and nurseries, and materials sourcing that respects local supply chains.
Green Construction
Where feasible, methods and materials chosen to reduce embodied impact without compromising structural performance.

The Nehemiah Initiative isn't a pledge. It's a completed programme.
In 2025, in partnership with the Government of Uganda and UNDP, we established tree nurseries at ten secondary schools across Eastern Uganda — with the infrastructure, training, and long-term sustainability plans needed for schools to keep producing seedlings independently.
